Choose vacuum drying oven or blast drying oven

Vacuum drying oven and blast drying oven are two commonly used laboratory drying equipment. To dry the material, it is nothing more than to achieve the purpose of drying through direct heating, vacuum negative pressure dehumidification. The difference between them lies in the user's requirements for the chemical stability of the dry material and the physical deformation of the dry material.

Through direct heating, sometimes with blast exhaust auxiliary methods, it is through the heat effect on the moisture, solvent or volatile component molecules in the material that the molecules move quickly and thus separate from the drying material and gradually dry the material. Its drying speed can be very fast and the drying temperature can be very high. In particular, the blast drying oven, under the action of the fan, quickly removes the volatile substance molecules volatilized from the surface of the material through air exchange, thereby achieving the effect of quickly drying the material.

 vacuum dryer

The vacuum drying oven uses a vacuum pump to pump the space where the drying material is located into a negative pressure state, i.e., so-called vacuum state. Under vacuum or low-pressure conditions, the boiling points of moisture, solvents, and other volatile components in the material are reduced, so that they can be separated from the surface of the material particles at a lower temperature and be pumped away by the vacuum pump. It is mainly used for materials that oxidize, polymerize, or undergo other chemical reactions at high temperatures.
